Actually the inspiration for this series was a continuation of my "Seeing Signs" Project. Standing in the midst of political posters during a campaign here,
I sudenly thoguht about my friend again who suffered from Paranoid Schizophrenia. Before his sickness became too advanced, he’d often draw my attention to signs that had secret messages for him.

I wondered what he would have thought about all these faces smiling at him.

And so arose the impulse to photograph these political posters
